Dirk’s Diary
The Dangerous Ponies were regrettably unable to reach a consensus with the snake woman. Aside from Kali Bahn, who seems to have gotten along with her quite well. After I suggested to him that he stop attacking our good elf-friend Nethrlkjsfgin, Kali calmed down and just sort of moped about until it was time to leave. I’m still uncertain whether his sudden affection was due to magic, naivety, or just desperation for companionship. Guy’s seemed pretty lonely ever since he skewered his previous lady friend with a ranseur. (This may explain his uptick in drinking)
Xanesha was full of tricks, flying, and invisibling, shooting Firfus right out of the air… but we held in there.
After a lengthy combat, full of darings and dos, we eventually decided to take pity on the poor hag and spare her life, for the trifling cost of her immense wealth. Most of the guys were a little banged up after, but nothing Drairk magic couldn’t take care of. All in all, not parade worthy, but productive. I’m sure the city guards will take it from here, and we can step in if needed.
Speaking of being needed. In her haste to donate her wealth to the Dangerous Ponies, it seems she forgot to remove a hand-written note from her sister. I didn’t get to read it first hand, but what I caught was some serious sibling rivalry. The older sister just went on and on about her superior greed-murders. In the end it wasn’t all too bad though, she ended her letter with an invitation to visit her at (I don’t remember Fort) and complimented Xena on her plot to murder the super greedy mayor of Magnimar. Right, that’s what I was getting at, we need to stop her from murdering him now.
Firfus and Blacktoots put up some traps at our warehouse. 10 gold says Kali sets them off, but since we’re sprucing the place up, I should really set up an altar…
