*bzzzworp* Aaaaand, we’re back!
It’s nice to rejoin this company of sorts. I might even go so far as to start considering them friends. I’m not sure why, but I missed them somewhat when I was in this strange land called “Night Vale”.
It would appear that we’re now inside some sort of metal building. I see that I narrowly missed a dangerous encounter. I hear my party, and we go down hallways, finding our way room by room, door by door. One such room has the odd tubes, with the word *nubeef* written on the side. One of my companions says something about “spacefood” and we decide it wise to stock up on this unexpected sustenance.
One room was not so fortuitous. It had ample amount of this strange spore/mold-like substance that seemed to expand from … corpses? It does not seem like a pleasant way to go, but this is the way of life. You cannot have life without death.
This is doubly appropriate, as part of it seemed to “spring” to life – and our new friend Aakpesh, promptly decided that it should return to a more vegetative state, and made it so.
This upheaval of life and death became the new normal. We would find rooms, with former people turned mold turned angry plants, only to be returned to a spattering of vegetable matter.
Eventually, we found a room that seemed to be dedicated healing – but delivered not through Sarenrae but machines. And these machines … well, I think they meant well at some point. But something has gone wrong. It’s not proper for healers to do harm.
