Barrow Town:
Preparing to go on a journey for the Gharlon. Cagen Rillid is our contact in Harmuth.
We enter a shop that belonged to a woman who dealt in antiques. She bought the silver forged book of Starlaset for 40 shins, and also pointed us to a caravan that was heading in the direction we were.
But first, we head to the armor store. A couple of alterations were done to some existing pieces in the party.
We then head to rendezvous point for the caravan, and setup camp. An odd little oasis in the middle of the desert.
During night watch we sense something rustling in the trees. Upon further inspection, we see that it is some sort of tree person with one eye. Zsafs managed to piss it off pretty good, and got bashed to the ground. We tried to talk the Golthar down, but Zsafs escalated it. So again, I tried to talk him down when another one shows up. They both seem to only be concerned with Zsafs. After taking another bash, Zsafs dials it down a bit, and we all decide to step back. The Golthar also take a step back, so I take a step forward, and they take a step forward. So we’re cha-cha’ing. Realizing that they are only trying to protect something, we all wander back to camp.
We make it through the rest of the evening without incident. We wake up a bit. It’s still foggy, but it appears to be rolling downhill. As the fog fully dissipates we realize we are on the back of an earthen, flying shark. Holy Fuck! The shark is the caravan! Shark-a-van!
The shark eventually “lands”, and we jumpoff the shark. We make our way to the nearbye village. There is a river, probably the Tide river. It’s a fishing town. We see two, nice, old ladies in the center of town. We approach them, and they tell us about the “Hidden Mouth”. It’s been taking only children and food stocks in the night. As defence, the town has been hiding the children and the food in their boats at night. We agree to help them.
The plan is to dig a pit with sharp sticks at the bottom to hopefully trap the mouth and kill it….
Take your 1XP!
